“Doraku”, the innovative Japanese gastropub created by restauranteur Kevin Aoki, has re-opened it’s Waikiki location at Royal Hawaiian Center with a fresh look, exclusive dishes, and an expanded drink list. The 150-seat restaurant is located on Level 3 of the B Building.
The renovated space is reminiscent of the traditional izakaya restaurants in Japan with its rich wood features, paper lantern decor, and casual atmosphere. The updated menu and drink list also reflect the changing tastes of diners.
In addition to Doraku’s signature maki rolls like the God of Fire “Kagu-Tschi Roll”, Delux Rainbow Roll, and Double Happiness, discerning diners will discover new menu items found at no other location, including:
・Kobe Style Sliders served with Okinawan sweet potato fries and a honey wasabi dipping sauce
